Call on a friend, or your teenager, or just treat yourself and join me for a super fun, creative and inspiring weekend of painting on September 25th – 27th at picturesque Blue Lake Camp.
The painting retreat includes shared cabin style accommodation (14 cabins to pick from), all meals, including brunch on Sunday, art supplies, professional painting instruction, studio time and most of all tonnes of fresh air, fun and laughs.
Here is what you can expect
Arrive on Friday afternoon, settle in and meet for dinner at 6 pm. After dinner, we will get to know each other, talk about the retreat, our expectations and maybe complete a few painting activities to get us warmed up for Saturday.
On Saturday, we will meet for breakfast at 9 am and start instructional time at 10 am. This will include a painting demo and a few suggestions to help you get started on your own masterpiece. You will need a phone to take pictures, and you will spend a part of the morning outside, collecting inspiration. We will break at 1 pm for lunch. The studio will be open from 2 pm to 5 pm for you to work on your painting. I will be there to provide advice and assistance as you need it. Remember to take breaks! Take a nature walk, visit with a friend, maybe take a short nap in your cabin. This weekend is about you! We will meet together for dinner at around 6pm.
We will not rush our Sunday morning. If you are an early riser, enjoy a nature walk or take a canoe out for a paddle. Let’s meet for a leisurely brunch at 9:30 am and follow it with a gallery walk to admire everyone’s work. We’ll pack up and leave by noon.
For optimal experience, registration is limited to 20 participants and must be completed by June 13th to secure facility booking. The total cost is $325 +tax per person.

Partial refunds of 50% will be issued up to September 11th, 14 days prior to the course.
NO refunds or credit will be issued after September 11th.
